Get the ethereal bridal look of
Milla Jovovich by wearing long strands of pearls as a headband, leaving your hair loose so the strands flow down the hair at the back.
This look works especially well with a scooped back dress, as shown in the Nov/Dec 09 issue of Brides, featuring our white freshwater pearl necklace.
Our website shows you other ways you can wear this necklace, getting the most out of your pearls after the big day in different ways.

Coleman Douglas Pearls
Coleman Douglas Pearls founded by designer Chrissie Douglas in 1989, creating bespoke designs in South Sea, Tahitian, Akoya and freshwater pearls. Chrissie says “My love of pearls runs in the family. My ancestor Alfred Smith was a pearl specialist and owner of A&J Smith Jewellers in Aberdeen. He spent hours fishing for natural freshwater pearls in Scotland. Pouring over his hand-drawn designs sparked my life-long love affair with pearls. I have studied their history and tradition within jewellery, making me one of the UK’s leading pearl authorities (as acknowledged by Carol Woolton, jewellery editor for Vogue). As a family-run business I am proud to have become the “family jeweller” for many of my clients, this has meant we have never advertised, growing through word of mouth alone."
