Top 5: Vintage style earrings

This summer has seen loads of talk of the style icons from yesteryear, with the Grace Kelly exhibition at the V&A, the auction of Jackie O’s pearls and the filming of the new series about the Kennedy’s.

Couple that with the anticipation of the return of Mad Men to our screens this autumn, and it is no wonder that we are seeing a revival of style pieces inspired by the fashions of the 50’s and 60’s.

Here are our favourite chunky vintage-style pearl earrings to help you create the look:

The ‘Moonstone’ pearl earrings are reminiscient of the spage inspired fashions of the 1960’s and come in either white, black or brown pearls. Perfect to accessorise a retro mini-dress.

Classic oval pearl and silver earrings – A cluster of 7 freshwater pearls (see model photo above) these earrings are perfect wedding pearls for the vintage bride.

These Pearl & Silver Geometric earrings would fit perfectly into the glamourous art-deco fashions of the early 20th century. Pair with some vintage shoes and a long bias cut dress for a special event.

The vintage-style pearl & silver Pyramid earrings are unusual as the pearls used in the clusters are irregular shapes making each pair unique. Dress them up or down and pair with a chunky white pearl or vintage bracelet.

The D-cluster pearl earrings are available in white pearls on silver, but also in a stunning combination of peackock-blue freshwater pearls set onto 18ct yellow gold for a more decadent feel – a perfect colour combination for the winter months.
