What are the new Autumn/Winter 2014/15 trends? We at Coleman Douglas Pearls, have highlighted a few of the new trends coming through the fashion shows that will help you stay ‘bang on trend’!
The front row of each show was a ‘who’s who’ guide of the celebrity world, with actors, actresses, and pop stars excitedly waiting to see the breath-taking colours and styles that will be filling everyone’s wardrobes this coming Autumn/Winter.
One front row that was particularly star studded was the Burberry show, with Anna Wintour, Tinie Tempah, Harry Styles and Bradley Cooper to name but a few!
The main colours we noticed while watching the shows were:
Vibrant oranges
Dusty blues
Dark greys
Deep Burgundy reds
Pale pinks
Mustard yellows
and of course white and black.
Many of the collections shown experimented with the use of checks, tribal looking zigzags and block colouring, the necklines were mostly kept high, for example the Prada Show.
In the Burberry show block colouring and zigzags were included in nearly everything from shoes to bags to clothing. We especially liked the Burberry ponchos with the personalized initials of each model.
To add a complementary block colour jewel to your wardrobe our multi-strand pink freshwater droplet pearl choker would be perfect. It can be worn twisted for a thick, rope look, or worn loose.
