This last week has been full of highs and lows as we watched our favorite athletes compete at the 2014 Commonwealth Games… which we WON!
One athlete who made the papers even before she started competing was Jade Lally.
Nicknamed the ‘Commonwealth Champion of Selfies’, Lally managed to collect the best selection of Sporting Celebrity pictures out of everyone…while wearing PEARLS!
Some of the selfies even included Sir Bradley Wiggins, Dame Kelly Holmes, Matthew Pinsent and Beth Tweddle!
Throughout all of the selfies and while competing we were delighted to see Lally wearing her white freshwater pearl studs.
Another athletics champ that joined Lally wearing pearl studs was Laura Weightman… a trend is definitely breaking out across the athletics field!
Long gone are the days of your sports teacher making you remove all of your jewellery before every game!

From Monday 10th August Coleman Douglas Pearls will be away for 2 weeks on Summer vacation.
