The great thing about this seasons trends is that they are so forgiving. Realising that we are overcoming the recession, Vogue tell us
‘buy quality, buy something that will become an iconic piece in your wardrobe’
…which, to be honest, is the mantra we’ve been living by anyway, and definately what we recommend to our clients.
With the new season appearing on the horizon (and the sun finally making its first 2010 appearance this weekend), then now is the time to make sure you have that perfect accessory to complete each outfit, or the one piece that will work with all the major trends.
The big themes for S/S10 are: ice-cream pastels & nude tones; the complete white-out; a touch of sparkle; cuves acentuated with belts; fabric in swathes of silk or chiffon – the overall vibe we’re getting for spring/summer, in which everything seems very romantic & feminine.
The great news is that pearls are the perfect accessory to all of these trends, coming in a number of pastel colours and being the ultimate symbol of the glamourous female.
