As soon as she stepped off the plane the nation, nay the world, were enchanted by her magnificent wardrobe.
Over the 19 day Royal tour of New Zealand and Australia we saw a feast of fabulous colourful outfits and …PEARLS!
‘Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.’ – Coco Chanel
We followed Kate as she checked out fighter jets, performed traditional hongi greeting (aka. pressing your nose and forehead against someone elses), running along the beach in ‘Baywatch’ style, and playing with Prince George.
While all of these events were happening did you notice the pearl drop earrings she was wearing?… We did!
Below we have highlighted a few of our favorite ‘Kate on Tour’ styles.
Since marrying Prince William, Kate has collected a few additional names. For example…
The Duchess of Cambridge,
Mrs Wales,
and now… DJ Duchess!
Who knew an Alexander McQueen outfit with pearl drop earrings could look so ‘cool’ and at home behind DJ mixing decks!
Check out Kate…The ‘yummy mummy’ on the block!
This photo shows ‘family power dressing’ to the max! with Kate wearing an elegant plain blue dress, Prince George wearing his cozy blue cardigan and Prince William wearing his smart blue tie.
Something is missing…Where are the pearls??!!
We would like to suggest a pair of timeless classic large round freshwater pearl studs as the perfect finishing touch to Kate’s look.
Now we just had to show you the picture of Kate doing her ‘Baywatch’ run…in pearls!
She wore another pair of pearl drop earrings to match her white summer dress.
So it seems that DJs, Yummy Mummies, and Beach Babes, can all wear pearls and look great!
