Throughout life we come across inspirational people from all walks of life.
But who and what inspires you?
Perhaps it is a person, nature, art work, or maybe a place.
Chrissie Douglas, our pearl guru, finds inspiration for new pearl jewellery when staying at her Italian Villa, La Collina del Sole, located in Lucca, northern Tuscany. Nearly all of our Coleman Douglas Pearl designs are birthed there, with the breathtaking views, award winning infinity pool and homely villa, feeding her creativity.

One collection in particular that was inspired while sitting in front of the open fireplace at La Collina del Sole was ‘Fireside’.
Made up of garnet, citrine, South Sea and Tahitian pearls, the collection consists of necklaces, earrings and bracelets.

The necklace on the left picks out the vibrant reds, yellows and oranges found in flames, while also drawing upon the contrasting textures.

Made up of a variety of different semi-precious stone strands twisted together with golden South Sea pearl and metallic Tahitian pearl accents. The necklace has been finished with one of our signature pearl clasps with tassel detailing.
