Flower Power

NE1313 Main image largeIt’s that time of the year again when the world descends upon Chelsea for the annual RHS flower show, and we are fully embracing the flower power here at Coleman Douglas Pearls! Our felt and pearl flowers are blossoming in our showrooms along with Katharine Amies botanical artwork which is halfway through its exhibition.

chelseaAnd we aren’t the only ones! The streets of London are blooming once again with the fabulous floral displays decorating the front of many well known shops in the area. Our Pearl Team have been keeping their eyes peeled and have found a few of their favourites.
First up is the incredible riot of colour seen outside the Ivy Garden who are fully embracing this years carnival theme! The amazing colour combinations are more than a little reminiscent of our Gift of Life necklace we think.

The flowers don’t just stop there, the incredible display of the Queen’s profile from the New Covent Garden Flower Market is so cleverly executed as well as beautiful. Outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea is a stunning display of handmade crocheted poppies in a moving tribute to the armed forces. The flowers are not just seen on the display’s either as the young woman on the left shows of her amazing floral dress!

The public vote for chelsea in bloom is officially open from the 24th – 28th May and with lots of events in the area be sure to pop by our pearl showroom in Beauchamp Place to join in the festivities.
