Last weekend we saw Helen Mirren win the BAFTA Fellowship award for her lifetime achievement in film, the highest honour the Academy can bestow.
Having played many contrasting roles, such as Queen Elizabeth II in ‘The Queen’, to a Mossad agent in ‘The Debt’, where Mirren is on a secret mission to capture and kill a notorious Nazi war criminal.
If you, like us saw ‘The Debt’ then you will have seen a beautiful selection of Coleman Douglas Pearls jewellery gracing the leading lady.
As you can see in the screen shot on the right, one of our South Sea Pearl strand necklaces was featured.
If you would like to join Mirren in wearing stunning lustrous South Sea Pearls, then join us at our Pearl Showroom where we will find the perfect pearls to suit you.
Throughout the film Helen Mirren wears our grey Freshwater Pearl studs with detachable dove grey Tahitian Pearl drops.
At the beginning of the film we see Mirren wearing the earrings as drops, but as the pace of the film increases with her going back out to the ‘mission field’, she opts for the simple classic studs.
To see a wider selection of our pearl jewellery, or to take advantage of our Bespoke service, re-stringing and re-designing services come and join us at 42 Beauchamp Place, London, SW3 1NX.
