You see them here, you see them there, you see Pearls everywhere!!
This years Cannes film festival was heaven for any pearl aficionado, with pearl earrings, pearl necklaces, pearl bracelets and even pearl encrusted outfits on show.

2 pearl styles that caught our eye were seen on Freida Pinto and an anonymous guest. As you will see, both styles are polls apart, yet appealing in different ways…

Let us start with the actress Freida Pinto, famous for her role in ‘Slum dog Millionaire’, seen here wearing a pair of delicate pearl studs.

Elegance personified!

Freida shows the world that you don’t have to have huge chandelier earrings encrusted with a multitude of gemstone to grace The Red Carpet and look a million dollars…or should I say a million rupees!

At one point I thought this lady might just be Dorothy Parker (come back to life!) who famously said, ‘When I’m cold I just put another rope of pearls on.’ If it was/had been her, she must have been freezing!!
