When you think of pearl jewellery, any jewellery for that matter, you imagine it to be worn as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, hair accessories or pins, which is why when we saw the Givenchy models step out onto the catwalk our mouths dropped…
Many of you will remember the previous Givenchy fashion show, where the models had ‘pearl beauty spots’ stuck onto their faces. Times that by a thousand and you have the Spring/Summer 16 look!
Pearls of varying sizes covered the face of one model completely, while another model had a semi-precious stone swirl effect covering hers.
As much as we LOVE pearls, we prefer them worn in a slightly less permanent way!
