Big in the 70s…HUGE right now… it’s Flower Power!
Our Pearl Team saw a perfect example of this at yesterdays Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2016 catwalk show in Paris. The exterior building…a mountain of purple delphiniums, inside…a landslide of purple delphiniums! All in all there were more than 400,000 flowers used to cover the exterior of the show’s backdrop.
A horticulturists dream, and a hey fever sufferers nightmare!
And it’s not just the fashion show sets that are a floral paradise, it seems that one of the biggest trend coming out of the 2016 S/S collections are floral prints. Unlike the prints of 2015, the florals are amplified with a big, bold intensity to catch the eye.
Fancy joining this trend but would prefer something a little more ‘subtle’?
Using a multitude of freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones and felt, our designer has created a collection inspired by the floral arrangements seen in a well-tended garden.
Made up of pearl necklaces, pearl earrings, a multitude of pearl bracelets and pearl pins, you are bound to find the perfect floral accessory to accompany your Spring/Summer look.
Our ‘Hanging Garden’ lasso, pictured on the right, is made up of a luxurious mix of cultured freshwater pearls, calcedony, rose quartz, peridot, citrine and rock crystals.
The delicate semi-precious stone clusters add colour and contrasting textures to the timeless classic pearls.
Coming in a range of different colours from pink to peacock black, our long pearl cluster drop earrings are a fun play on the traditional pearl stud and drop.
